View from the staging area.  We were a lot closer to the lake than it appears.

View from the staging area looking north.

Ummm, will you check to see if I zipped my Camelbak?

Another shot of the lake.

Jim, and Taylor headed up the trail

Look out BRUCE!!  Don't stop in the middle of the trial to take pictures!

This IS for obvious reasons why we don't let Jim work the Camera.  Nice shot of the inside of your visor dude!  Oh yeah, Bruce and Taylor taking a break.

Ahh, he musta took his helmet off, B and T again.

Taylor looking like a bad mutha. On a side note,   This shot is very flattering, I think it shows my true boyish figure, not the overweight middle aged wanna be, Bruce usually captures in his pictures.

Ahh, he always looks skinny, Jimbo

No time to wave, looking for good line on the trail.  Note: no broken brake lever this time! (see north coke oven trip)

"Did you see me, I was kicking your butt coming up that trail"  Taylor letting "Jim Dug" know who's boss!

Some cliffs we passed along the way, the trail/road runs right along the base.

Same cliffs, apparently Bruce's new camera philosophy is "take two"

Scenic shot of the trial we just rode up.

Scenic shot

Still looking for a good line.  We didn't get may shots of it, but most of the last 5 or so miles of the trail/road are these real sharp rocks you gotta watch out for.  Like I said before mountain on one side, straight down on the other.

Jimmy sucking hind tit again.  (God, I love being the one who edits this website)  Note the Pine trees in the back, we are almost there!

Pulled over to take a scenic shot.

The scenic shot

Finally into the Pines, and almost to CK

More Pines

Jimmy taking a break in the pines

I think the altitude made my face swell a bit.

Bruce and Taylor taking a break in the pines.

The KTM with the make shift kick stand.

Who needs a kick stand Jimmy?  Here is a 2x4 that will work just fine.  We finally made it to the restaurant.

An old mine we stopped at on the way back.

Scenic shot of the trails

Jimmy was in such a hurry to get back, that went down!  Luckily he was fine, but his new pipe didn't fare so well.
